Curation

The DNA stored in the Bank comes from our researcher's expeditions, from the Arboretum collections, from Herbarium specimens and from donated plant material and/or DNA.

Plant material is dried in silica gel before DNA extraction. The DNA is stored at -80ºC with the equivalent voucher stored within the Herbarium.
